You Will Find It Quickly
Discover How God Causes You to Find What Others Are Still Searching For
A young woman named Bisi had served faithfully in her church for over a decade. By the time she turned 36, many had begun to whisper, “Maybe it’s not in God’s plan for her to marry.”
But in the space of 9 months, everything changed. She was introduced to a man of God on a missions trip, they connected almost instantly, and wedding invitations were printed before many even heard the news.
At her wedding, one elderly woman whispered to another, “How is it that she found it so quickly?”
That’s the same question Isaac asked Jacob.
Isaac, old and uncertain of how much longer he would live, prepared to pass on his generational blessing. He instructed Esau, his firstborn, to go into the wild, hunt game, prepare his favourite meal, and come back to receive the blessing.
But while Esau was still hunting, Jacob, without entering the jungle, was being dressed for the blessing. Rebecca prepared the food, clothed Jacob in Esau’s garments, and covered his hands with goat skin. With confidence and guidance, Jacob entered his father’s tent.
Startled, Isaac asked:
“How is it that you have found it so quickly, my son?” (Genesis 27:20)
And Jacob replied,
“Because the Lord your God brought it to me.”
This will be your testimony. People will soon ask you, “How did it happen so fast?”
“We thought you were still single, how come you're engaged already?”
“You just lost your job, how are you now relocating abroad?”
“You were always shy and struggling, how come you’re now preaching boldly?”
“You’ve been trusting God for a child for years, how is it that your belly is now full?”
Friend, it doesn’t have to take long. With God, you can find it quickly. While others are toiling in the jungle, heaven can orchestrate your lifting.
Here’s how other Bible translations capture Jacob’s response:
“Because the Lord your God made it happen for me.” (CSB)
“Because the Lord your God worked it out for me.” (HCSB)
“Because the Lord your God cleared the way for me.” (MSG)
“Because Jehovah your God sent me good speed.” (ASV)
That’s what divine speed looks like. God can bring to you what others are still searching for. It’s not about laziness, it’s about grace and divine arrangement.
May the Lord raise Rebeccas; people who will favour, mentor, and position you. May you receive help that accelerates your destiny.
You will find it quickly!

This was an inspiring story and beautifully written. I just wanted to share my personal reflection: in Genesis 27:20, the words “The Lord your God brought it to me” were actually spoken by Jacob during a moment of deception, pretending to be Esau. So personally, I don’t see that verse as an example of divine speed, but rather a turning point in a very complex story. Still, the reminder that God can shift things suddenly by His grace is very true and encouraging. Thank you for sharing this!
Amen!
