The Stage Is Set For You! Take It!

God released you to the world because it is your time. The stage is now set for you to showcase what you were created for.

All over the social media are posts by people complaining, cursing and wondering why God would allow them to be born into a country like Nigeria. It is worse in this season of so many economic challenges and uncertainties.

But I came across something profound and I am compelled to share it. Acts 7:20 says,

Then, I made enquiries as to what time was it that Moses was born and I realized that it was a time when a king that didn't know Joseph mounted the throne of Egypt and the Israelites were subjected to serious slavery and servitude.

That was not the time anyone would have wished to be born but "At this time Moses was born…"

As a matter of fact, all the children at the time were killed but at that time Moses was born. He was born into oppression, discrimination and slavery. And the tendency like many Nigerians are doing today is to keep cursing and complaining. 

But Moses soon saw the bigger picture. He realized that he came at the best time and that he was born to start solving the problem he was born into. God actually sent him at the time to be the solution to the problem he met on ground and he began to attempt to do something about it.

I know it is very challenging and daunting but perhaps we should begin to see the bigger picture and ask better questions. What's our place in the scheme of things and what can we do about the many problems all around us? As Mordecai asked Esther, who knows whether we were born into Nigeria for such a time as this?

Your birth is not ordinary. You were born for a purpose and you are right on time for that purpose. You were born at the time you were born because it was time for what you were created to do. If you came earlier, it would have been too early. If you were born later, it would have been too late. God released you to the world because it is your time. The stage is now set for you to showcase what you were created for.
